I weirdly appreciate that he's keeping his mouth shut. i would imagine if he really wanted to dish out a little of what he's been getting, he could come up with some shit. but he's being mature enough to not air it out in public where the press can have a feeding frenzy, if the concept of not wanting to publicly hurt her isn't there as well. and it might very well be that he doesn't want to publicly hurt her as well. (i know third and cynical option that he's waiting for the right time)

i'll be honest, i'm not sure given the relationship or what transpired that if someone was hitting me in the press, that i could do that, just walk away.
