He used to be in a lot of good films, but now I only ever see him in Mission Impossible sequels.

I guess I just meant that he used to be in a variety of films. I liked him in comedies, and I loved "Minority Report."

I would LOVE for him to make that transition because it'd be a return to form; he used to be more of a character actor tbh. Like, please go back to taking risks and doing more interesting drama roles etc.

I do like the M:I films though so he can make those every few years.

IA, I love Tom as an actor, but I don't want to see a 50-something dude kicking butt. Time to go back to dramas and artsy movies.

That said, I do enjoy the M:I movies and will most likely see the next one, lol. But mostly because I like white Rebecca Ferguson

I agree. In the case of Tom Cruise, it's kind of depressing because he chooses these huge paychecks over seeing his daughter.
