I know they're not choosing good songs hence "defining"..but how on earth did Pillowtalk define a decade?

Pillowtalk deserves! It was such a smash and it’s still a great song. Definitely one of my favorites from this decade. My list is too long but a non-ranked sample would include:

• Hey Girl: Gaga and Florence Welch
• Nobody and Francis Forever: Mitski

• I’ll Have to Dance with Cassie: the Emily Browning version from the movie God Help the Girl (also one of my favorite movies from this decade)
