Census is a population count, right (can't watch right now)? It's also a great tool to commit voter - and other kind of - fraud.

Trump and company tried to get the 2020 census to add a question about people's citizenship (that was later revealed to get minority communities undercounted for white Republican control) and it was struck down in the courts as unconstitutional.

Yeah, I wouldn't blame any undocumented people for still not participating.

I wouldn't either, but as John said, the downside of that is dramatic underrepresentation in government and less funding for supports and services.

i can admit it bb, but it makes sense when you realize the shadow the holocaust cast and how much i heard that growing up, i don't like the census. it makes me a tiny bit and yeah it's super small, but it makes me a little nervous.

my sister got randomly selcted for a eurostat census

they were mostly interested in details of her apartment/rent
