She's going to be in Biloxi next year which is only 1.5 hrs from me, and I'm so tempted to buy tickets. I've seen her twice already, but I would pay to see her a 3rd time. I love her.

I did watch the last half hour of the show while I was answering emails last night. Willie Nelson singing Rainbow Connection was lovely. Kacey sounded good.
The person who did not sound good was Garth Brooks. Yikes. He made Blake Shelton sound like a vocal genius. It bothers me that every woman up for vocalist of the year could wipe the floor with the male vocalists of the year nominees but Entertainer of the Year was four men and Carrie Underwood. This was the year that women finally got traction in country music for the first time in a long while but the biggest award still celebrated men.
