eh - I hate that formal top knot on anyone while I wish Kate's dress was of a different fabric. Chrissy I like most of the dress but wish the part draping the front of the bodice wasn't there and that the dress wasn't so long she stands on it

small scale galas where legit hard work by people on the ground are celebrated over free food is cool and all and has value, but most bougie galas are disgusting.

Went to a black tie gala last night just because I wanted an excuse to put on a gown and get dolled up and feel good about myself (yesterday would've been my two year anniversary with the guy I thought I was going to marry...and as of a couple of weeks ago he's "in love" with a 19 year old). I'm my best self when I'm in formal wear, lol.

Thank you, I did! Took glam pics, danced, drank, made merry, networked with society folks, ended up hanging out most of the night with a cute guy...the constant heartbreak and betrayal I've been feeling lately FINALLY took a break for a night.
