I saw the Maleficent sequel and it was so stupid. Like it could have been really good but the writers just said fuck this plot, who cares?

Yeah, the actor who played Dylan was far more personable and charismatic than that other guy. It would have been miles better with Mae coming back and Dylan as the protagonist.

the sequel was hilarious trash but there is no way a rehash of the first would have worked either. but im curious to hear what made the original idea better.
