This game...
It's crazy the level of contempt people have for this game from day 1.
And as more and more information was released, people just become more rabid.

Like, my dudes it's a children's game, when it's all said and done.
Chill.

Oh, I know.
Trust me I know the complaints, it's hard not too...
I can see how the game could be considered lacking, especially when this is suppose to be the most "ultimate" version of a Pokemon game; as the Devs have slogan.

I'm not saying many of the opinions and complaints aren't valid, not refuting that.
I actually agree with them, to a varying degree.

But at this point it feels like no matter what game, GameFreak released it wouldn't be enough.
Because it wouldn't be this perfect game.
That the fans have envisioned for the first true Pokemon experience on the Switch.

aren't there like over 1k pokemon now?? i feel like it makes sense that a lot were cut. there's def a problem with gen 1 pandering though, especially with charizard who is literally the most useless of the first gen starters.

[leaks]i don't actually hate the final evo for the fire bunny line, but i HATE the monkey one. also galran rapidash makes me wish i had a switch.

I knew that some people would be upset when they first announced the limited number of Pokemon for this game, but I never thought it would be as big of a deal as it is. I always thought that, even back when diamond and pearl were being released, that they would eventually have the to cut the pokedex - either release games without new Pokemon or just limit what's in the game like what they've done for sword and shield.

Anyway make sure you download the Pokemon pass app and go to Best Buy to get mewtwo!

I mean my favorite is never in the game. I know that I will still enjoy the game. So, I am not too worry about it.

something I've been wondering about for a while now is how many younger kids (like gen Z range) are really into media franchises like Pokemon. it feels like the big thing for millennials and as such most people who are still interested in and spending money on it now are all in our twenties and thirties. any kids in my family have been more into Fortnite and online FPS games, random low budget smartphone app games etc.

There are definitely kids who love Pokemon, definitely. They probably age out of it around like 11-13, but I think young kids still go crazy for it (based on my experience as a childcare counselor).

The kids I work with love pokemon go, the trading card game and the anime, I'll bet they'll buy this
