eta: not even in an 'ugh men' kind of way, but you had a room full of people who's life experiences are probably very similar trying to write a story that is as grand and diverse as game of thrones.

How are they different than the other nobility? The First Men set up a feudal system, the Andals came in and tried to take it over and then intermarried with the First Men. The Kings of Winter (Starks) were brutal conquers originally who put down all the other Kings in the North and the same is true of a lot of the other families.

HBO ain't shit like most if not all production companies.

They prefer to throw away millions of dollars in two men who know absolutely shit about directing/writing instead of an experienced female director/writer.
