ACE comeback is so disappointing to me... I don't enjoy them as a rap focused group at all. Their vocals and dancing are their strongest point, rap is their weakest. Unfortunately this choreo isn't as good as most of their others either, imo.
New Yubin song is rly nice and I'm glad she's sticking with the retro thing, I hope it's what she actually wants to do and not JYP trying to keep WG alive through her lol.
yeah it seems like they were just hoping the issue would go away which is incredibly dumb when the money owed is such a large amount (+ add in that they're possibly exes which means it's more emotionally charged lol). starship handled every step of this horribly and tbh it sounds like wonho did, too. people are being more lenient towards him because they hate han seohee and anyone associated with her and I agree she should've shut the fuck up about his juvenile record BUT nonetheless, we can't pretend he played his cards right here. the right cards would've been paying JDE back a long ass time ago when she first started asking and maybe putting wonho on a short hiatus (or enlistment since he has to soon anyway). the way they handled things by trying to cover it up is going to hurt monsta x and wonho way more.
i could see a situation where she (understandably) considers that he owes her the money for all the rent he didn't pay and he considers that it's in the past and he doesn't owe her the rent and thinking "she doesn't need to the money anyway" to justify it to himself
I was confused about Wonho's departure because I thought people were still talking about his Me too comment. I thought it was odd he'd be departing because of that. But the rabbit hole goes pretty far.
Taeyeon's new album is amazing; one of the best of the year. 2019 has been a rough year for kpop, but the music has been top notch.
Earlier this year--I wanna say March or around there--Monsta X had a fan event and Minhyuk held a mic to Wonho's chest and made a comment like, "Nips, say something" like he was interviewing his chest. Wonho responded by raising his hand and going, "Me too!"
There was some debate on if he was making a joke against the Me Too movement since he was talking about his nipples, or if he was just raising his hand and saying "me too!" like he wanted to be the next to talk.
When I heard about Wonho leaving, I thought it was about these comments at first since Starship put out an apology a few days ago. Stuff happens fast, that's for sure.
Yubin’s two songs are so good!!!! She’s really amazing :)
Ariaz’s debut wasn’t bad, I found a lot of debuts this year for ggs pretty meh (I’m sad Hinapia is probably going to be in this category for me 😩 I’m not into Drip at all) but their song is nice! I don’t trust their company, even though they’re under a sub label or whatever it’s called - so I want them to do well but I don’t want to get attached
Taeyeon....my opinion on her hasn’t changed since the last post about her on here, so I’m skipping it for now. I just don’t feel comfortable
