I haven't seen Taylor Kitsch in much. Does he get cast just because people think he's hot, or is a decent actor, too? This is a legit Q, as I know he's been in a bunch of flops, but who among our faves has not picked a terrible project or five?

I really need to try to watch FNL again. I got partway through S1 and lost interest, but everyone seems to love it!

he was def the standout for me from that (awful) season of True Detective. he impressed me with what he was able to do with that writing.

they really missed the boat by not making a sequel years ago and latching onto it as a franchise. a cheesy, cheesy franchise.

a reboot would work now, but i'll be honest, idgaf anymore, i'm out of the target audience and lusting after a bunch of supposed 17-18 year olds is creepy, and they do nothing for me.

What if it’s a sequel with the same cast?

they want to come back, what, 15, 20 years later? uh, ok, i'll give it a whirl, but idk how good it will be. the only way to do it would be to subvert expectations and where the first is a tween horror flick, they'd need to just fucking go for the horror/thriller and tension. dark and meaty doesn't always mean ~woe is me man pain~.

to me they'd need to really not play around with the evil and chase should be shown as a power hungry delusional. considering the audience wouldn't be tweens, it would need to be less cheesy imo. and we already have too many cheesy horror movies that aren't really trying to fuck you up on tension. i'd want them to go for it on the tension, and evil, with some really good kills, so they all ain't making it to a third one.
