Thank You! Gaga is soooo fucking dumb. This is worse than Kelly Ripa talking about her son living in extreme poverty and then getting mad when people are like, yeah no. Gaga is thirsty for attention and fame. She needs to STFU.
Hey Amanda you dumb fuck who wanted to scam everybody into paying for her wedding and her honeymoon, I live every day and the prisoner of my own body as sick as I am. My mind is fine and my body is a goddamn prison. There are different kinds of prison. There’s also a metaphor which maybe if you went back to school, and at least you’re old enough you won’t have to have a roommate who may or may not have something bad happen to them, you would understand. Or you could always pick up a book and read about the gilded cage
( ... )
I don’t like Knox but let’s be real here, being super famous and rich is nothing like prison. Nothing. Not only was it shitty metaphor it was really tone deaf and dumb. Is Gaga forced to wear a prison uniform everyday? Is someone telling her when to shit, eat, sleep, and shower? Does she have to worry about the threat of violence? Being violated by guards and other prisoners? Is she so famous that she can only see her loved ones through a plate glass window? She needs to stop.
Because you are only viewing the stone walls version of prison. And that’s not what she meant. You are arguing for literal and she meant metaphorical and they are by definition two different things and laying out the literal doesn’t magically end the definitions of metaphor.
Nah, it's still a dumb metaphor. Gaga chose fame, she's living a privileged life thanks to that and, most importantly, she's free to gtfo if she wants to. Metaphorically or not, a prison a lack of freedom. Which is not Gaga's situation.
i feel like a mountain has been made out of a molehill?????????? with her tweet???????????????????????????????? unless she had some other thread i dont think its that huge of a deal? objectively????

Do they really really not know what it's like for poor people these days? Most of them have been famous and rich before the financial crisis
