I don't know if this counts, but I used to LOVE, let's be honest, I still do LOVE the old Legend of Sleepy Hollow short story they used to show on the Disney channel. Now that I have 'kids' (my students) I show it to them every Halloween, even they don't really care about it. Lol! I take all my Halloween theme movies during the month of October and try to show them all, I let them vote for a movie a week. I've really been wanting them to pick Hocus Pocus but they haven't, sigh.

I remember watching that on tv when I was a kid. I just watched Hocus Pocus with my mom last night. What movies have the kids chosen so far?

Monster House, Hotel Transylvania and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory so far. They surprise me with the movies they pick. If they don't pick Hocus Pocus by Halloween I'm just going to put it on for them on Halloween along with the Headless Horseman.

i used to love rosenne's halloween specials, though i distinctly remember watching a lot of munsters on halloween. i have been watching the addams family on pluto tv lately.

re: streaming services: i like that hulu does like a huluween thing and puts up a lot of halloween stuff. i think netflix does something similar? it's nice

I miss all the special Halloween episodes that tv shows used to do and the random animated specials. Does anyone remember this super short made for tv movie about aliens looking for candy?

Also I just want to point out that And Then There Was Shawn was not actually a Halloween episode, it aired in February. But it's a great episode nonetheless. I loved all the TGIF Halloween episodes.
