The Cell had super cool visuals but as a movie eh. (But IA D'Onofrio was amazing.) The Fall >>>

My husband (who hates scary movies) got mad at me Saturday night because we came home from the bar and wanted to watch a movie and snuggle. And I, not knowing anything about this movie, saw Jlo’s name, got excited, and put on The Cell. Needless to say, we were soo not prepared for that, and we were tipsy and wound up like all agitated at each other and freaking out about where the remote was to turn it off. 😹😹 😹

I really wanna try again now that i know what I’m in for though! It was visually super cool.

I guess because I've seen it so many times (it's one of my favorites), it doesn't scare me and I don't consider it horror. But I can see the horror elements to it. You should definitely try watching it again now that you're prepared.

As a kid the part where the little boy in the desert gets like a warped face for a second omg that terrified me

But I agree as an adult it’s not really scary

I LOVE The Cell but that is not .a cuddle-worthy film at all. Lol.

It doesn't scare me. It's just beautiful and creepy and well done.

For Halloween this year, I'm reading Ronan Farrow's Catch and Kill. It's depressing that Weinstein was invited to an artist event last night and people were booing the women subtly or outright protesting his presence.
