Bethesda stay tarnishing their legacy franchises.
Fallout is now a joke & meme.

And you know they are mad pressed because The Outer Worlds is getting rave reviews.
A project from ex-Fallout dudes is a success, while they remain missing the mark.

Like this is exactly what the fanbase DOESN'T want!
Fallout 76 is already unanimously considered a broken cash grab, and they just keep making it worst.

I can't wait to play The Outer Worlds in 2 days, to experience the magic that Fallout and Bethesda used to produce.

Bethesda did Obsidian dirty anyway with the New Vegas time crunch (and I still love that game anyway). I can't wait to play Outer Worlds.

Yep!
It's amazing what Obsidian was able to do, under such conditions.
They made one of my favorite games of all time, but imagine what they could've gave us if Bethesda wasn't such dickheads...

I've been fantasizing what kind of build/character I'm going to make for my first play-through in The Outer Worlds, all week.
I can't believe it's almost here!!

the only reason I ever pay attention to this game is when Patricia Hernandez writes about the weird people who play this game - like a group of people who role-play as cannibals or a mercenary/assassination group that will stalk a player for weeks to kill them.

but I would also never play a game that would allow someone to stalk me for weeks in order to kill me just because some random got mad and paid money to have me assassinated

i dont think thats how this works..
Whenever you play the game, you're placed in a world of random people every-time you play, unless they are on your friends list and you join a 'world' together.

they get around it: https://www.polygon.com/2019/7/12/20690651/fallout-76-talon-company-appalachia-bounty-bethesda-group

obviously it's probably rare, but I already associate online gaming with harassment so to read an entire article about a group of people who stalk players for fun made the game sound even worse

lmao, this is so insulting and it's clear bethesda just doesn't give a shit. from the preorder fiasco (late DLC/advertising a nice canvas bag in the $200 special edition and sending people barely reusable nylon bag) to how shitty the end result is. it's so sad seeing my favorite video game franchise run into the ground.

you can really tell when a video game is designed and created by actual developers and artists and when its been designed by a board of investors. every company that shifted to an 'always online and multiplayer' model after fortnite falls into the latter. Bethesda with Fallout 76, Bioware with Anthem, and all the others ones that already failed and have been forgotten

Gotta respect the hustle of Todd Howard selling tickets to the Hindenburg after it crashed
