This is sad...I know she was a child star so it’s assumed she probably didnt have as much of an education as a regular American but 3rd grade?

It seems like quite a few child stars dropped out or got GEDS(American equivalent to a high school diploma). I don't even think Kristen Stewart graduated from high school, Emma Stone got her GED, Jennifer Lawrence may have dropped out in middle school?. I remember Willow Smith said keeping up with school was too hard.

Child actors are supposed to have tutors on set. I think it depends on the parents/families and person because Jonathan Taylor Thomas's mom made him go to school and put his education first. Jodie Foster and Natalie Portman seemed to really care about their educations and making school a priority.

Their parents switch their status to homeschooled I guess. I don't know if you're legally obliged to have education everywhere in the States
