it has gotten so much better since angela kang took over for gimple. if you have netflix, the last season is up. give one a chance and see for yourself. tonight's episode was so fucking creepy that i had to look away a few times because i was nervous of a jump scare. i never do that for tv.
I stopped watching last season so can’t really help you
But I had it on for a bit last night and honestly nothing changed. Except a six year time jump. There is a group trying to kill them. Zombies are still there. Negan can blatantly blame the killings of Glenn and Abe and everyone else on ~just something he has to do and not have his face immediately bashed in and then he gets to save the day.
Last season was really a nice new pace. It felt like 2 different seasons in one. The time jump does leave you with questions but I think they paced it well throughout the season with the answers. I've actually come to like the new group that were introduced, too, especially after they were interrogated by Michonne.
Carol and her sleep deprivation made this episode trippy. It was already feeling that way because of the continuous fighting they had to do with the waves coming in. I'm hoping the pill popping will be done with since the bottle is empty and pharmacies aren't readily available. I understand why, especially with the nightmares but I don't want it to be a thing. I did love the dream sequence with Daryl and Carol in the kitchen.
