I'm living for the '70s American masters coming for MCU films. Hahaha all your bro-y cinema Gods HATE your film taste basic film bros. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NOW???

(has Quentin Tarantino hatedd on superhero movies yet? We just need him, Fincher and Godard to join in and then every man who thinks he's an expert in film will be devastated).

I don't know that anyone gets anything out of seeing the same movie over and over again.

I agree that I wouldn't categorize Marvel films as ~cinema~ but when this is your defense of Martin Scorsese I...OK then.

It is ironic as The Irishman comes out with the same mob actors from the 70s and after.

Not to mention both directors use the same formula, as does most media.

This is embarrassing for their legacies in my opinion.

I don't know that anyone gets anything out of seeing the same movie over and over again.

And yet, there are men who have seen the Godfather so many times, that they can quote practically the whole movie.

And what's the point of running them on TV or putting them out on DVD then?

people can feel however they want about Marvel films but Coppola calling something "despicable" when he's a Victor Salva apologist is fucking rich. fuck him.

Exactly what I was coming here to comment. I don't care about this Marvel vs ~real films~ debate, I find it tedious. But someone who made a point to help the career of a convicted pedophile? That's something that deserves to be called despicable.

Yeah, he said Victor Salva and his victim were just kids playing around. Fucker, Salva was 25 and his victim was 12.
