Director Doug Liman, Who doesn't even know if his movie "Chaos Walking", will see the light of day, tells us that a script for the sequel to WB's cult hit EDGE OF TOMORROW (2014) is ready...but won't shoot for quite some time.

While promoting something called "Impulse", Liman said the following:

"Yeah, the script is ready."
For those keeping score at home, Mission Impossible: Fallout is the 6th in the franchise, with the 8th coming out in 2022, in which Cruise will be 60 and his co-star/love interest Emily Blunt would be 39, making her far too old in Hollywood years to be his love interest in the sequel.
