guess all the coonery in his films paid off! i wonder what kind of projects will actually be shot here though and whether they'll deviate from the themes of his own work.

i'm fascinated he not only invited spike lee to this, he named one of the soundstages after him, given... their not-so-kind words to each other in the past

also i watched ava's instagram story tour and damn they should set up a bus service, it's so fucking huge. the white house replica was insane

It’s on Ava’s insta story. should still be up for a couple more hours before it disappears.

That's how I feel. It's an amazing achievement and it will provide so many opportunities. But at the same time, I don't like his movies and how he portrays black women.

Same and I’m just not a big fan of his content, it’s a bit too OTT for me but I’m happy for him tbh. This is a huge deal so good for him

mte I'm conflicted but it's not fair for the employees to lose their jobs for something they had nothing to do with.

the grassroots organizers, esp the reproductive justice organoizers i follow and support have consistently said that denying opportunities to "screw" the local and state gov't isnt the way to go and its best to support groups that are doing the life saving work being done on the ground
