I wouldn’t go to theaters for it but I’d like to see that alien doc if it hits Netflix or something

I usually see a movie a week but I’m going to skip it this weekend, might be dramatic of me but I just don’t feel like going to the movie theater during the opening week of the joker

What are some of your favorite feel good movies? I’ve been stressed out lately and want to watch something new. I’m just not into super dramatic movies anymore, life sucks already and I just want to watch something fun.

Romy and Michelle’s high school reunion
Practical magic
Bridget Jones diary
Dumplin on Netflix is super cute and I find it really uplifting
If you’re in the mood for a good cry but overall it’s an uplifting film, wonder is good
Legally blonde is always fun
13 going on 30 is fun
I know a lot of ontd doesn’t like it but I think 50 first dates is a feel good movie, it makes me smile for most of the movie
Never been kissed

The Princess Bride
The Wedding Singer
Hocus Pocus
10 Things I Hate About You
Clueless

I'm realizing now that all of these are old! Recently, I liked Between Two Ferns.

I've never seen Alien! Need to get on that - I've been working my way through classic 80's films lately, and that series is up next.

Never heard of Low Tide before making this post, but I think I want to see it. It looks like something I'd enjoy, Shea Whigham is in it, and it's from A24, which is usually a plus.

Going to see Judy tomorrow night. Next week, we have an early screening + Q&A of Jojo Rabbit, and then Parasite and The King next weekend! So that should be good.

You saw Marriage Story at TIFF right? Do you think it's worth seeing in the cinema? It's gonna be playing at one solitary theatre here.

I absolutely loved it, but I can't say anything about it needs a theater viewing. So I guess I'd say I think it's worth seeing in theaters, but you're not gonna lose much watching it in your living room.

Alien is a must see! So is aliens, you’ve probably heard it but they are quite different movies almost different genres

Personally I hate alien 3 and 4 but if you get hooked on the series like I did you will probably end up watching them

Prometheus wasn’t AS awful as people make it out to be imo and I low key liked covenant
