I'm from Atlanta and though I was young, I remember this very well. Richard Jewell's story is absolutely heartbreaking. The man was a hero and he was convicted in the press and it ultimately killed him, tbh. I'm thankful his story is finally being told and I hope this film does well by him, but I'm bummed it's via Clint Eastwood, who is kind of the worst.

I still live in Atlanta, and even worked in the Fairlie-Poplar district for quite awhile, and each time I visit or even just walk by Centennial Park I can't help but think about how much more horrific it could have been.

I took my fiance on the ferris wheel and then through the park. I don't typically get a lot of time in the city since I live in Hellsville USA, but it's hard for me to enjoy the park. Knowing what could have happened and what DID happen to Jewell.
