Hoo boy. A lot of people in addiction recovery use religion to help the process, as accepting some form of 'higher power' that's bigger than you is kind of part of the whole thing and that's all fine, but ... "God-sized hole in my heart"?? SO many branches of so many religions take such a shitty view of mental health/addiction, saying they're basically just ~tools of the Devil~ that can be totally 100% solved by faith. I feel like a lot of vulnerable people get taken advantage of this way.

idk. religion is mostly bad.

I feel like what she meant with God-sized whole, is that she felt empty and she means she had a huge hole in her heart? I don't know, i think if it makes her feel better then good for her.

Yep. 12 step programs place a lot of emphasis on finding a higher power. They aretoxic and fairly ineffective.

They're not ineffective. Calling them that when they've helped so many people is toxic.

I dunno how this fanny pack position became trendy. Is it even comfortable to carry something laying across your boobs like that? I guess at least it's practical and provides security for your money and belongings.

But is it more practical? Seems like you would have to take it off to find something in it, otherwise all your stuff would fall out. I get that it's 'fashion' and fashion is often stupid, but this look especially is silly to me.

Yeah that’s prob true bc at that placement it’ll be hard to dig something out. I was just thinking it was more practical bc if it’s by your waist a pick pocketer might be able to get to it more easily. I usually see women with these fanny packs, Jesse Kamm JNCO pants, tiny sunglasses, and white dad sneakers. I hate fashion!

I'm glad she found joy in this trip. At the same time, I'm wondering who sponsored it and what sort of motive they had. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

probably sponsored by scooter. it seems mandatory if you're signed with him to show support to israel or he'll dm fans from his client's twitter account to tell them how they love israel when said fans tweet support to palestine

you have to know by this point that when your being offered a all expense paid trip it's not so that you can have a life changing experience but to use your fame to further the cause of the people paying for it
