I think Letitia Wright is supposed to be Rosalie Otterbourne, which would make Sophie Okonedo Salome Otterbourne.

I sure hope this will be better than Murder on the Orient Express, but... meh.

At least there's no Johnny Depp this time.

I ended up watching Murder on the Orient Express on a plane and it was just okay, kind of surprised it was such a big hit. I've never read this one, but I'll put it on my list.

I watched it on a plane as well and it was soooo boring. I love Agatha Christie novels, but it's hard to make movies out of them without either making them cliche or adding stuff and really overdoing it. Still, Death on the Nile is one of her better novels, in my opinion, so maybe it'll be decent.

I turned off Murder on the Orient Express after like 25 minutes. Boring as fuck.

I also hate Branagh's interpretation of Poirot's mustaches, it's not at all neat tbh

His first adaptation was atrocious, particularly in terms of remaining truthful to the spirit of the book and Hercule Poirot's characterization. Also adding extra action just to make it appeal to the mass market more was stupid and unnecessary.

In short, won't bother with this one.

so bad, the book was way more subtle on "who did it"

and that weird snow chase...
