Well, there'll be 9 books in total, so who knows. Originally back when it was on SyFy they said they think they could tell the story in 7 seasons, I don't know if that's still the plan.

Books 7-9 take place after a 30 year time jump. I can't imagine all of the current cast in old age makeup and CGI wrinkles.
