What a fucking amazing venue for a Florence and the machine concert

It really was! It fit her and the music so well and she was so happy to be there. One of the best concerts I've ever been to for sure

I’m so jealous. I visited Athens for the first time in June, and it was a breathtaking city.

She's fantastic and so is that venue. Match made in heaven.

I feel like seeing her perform those songs live elevated it 300%, even tho I already liked it. "June" made only a passing impression on me but live it's a religious experience.

maybe you will one day! never give up hope, took me 10 years to see her live and it's worth it <3

this one has a very beautiful acoustic version of june, and patricia as well:

edit:

this also remains the superior 100 years version; the album recording sounds so quiet and tame by comparison, but this one made me love it before the album even came out:

Florence will never be my fave but I’ve got a lot of respect for her

And I’ve seen so many ethereal clips of her concerts it’s like the weather wants to make her shows more dramatic lol

It was windy and rainy on a semi outdoor venue when I saw her and it was perfect
