I just finished watching this and loved it. It had a lot of great scenery and am interested on how they'll continue it if they choose to. It did have some slow moments though.

I've been consistently disappointed with the happy ending horror Netflix puts out and comparing it to Hereditary (which I loved) of all things is already making me side-eye and doubt it. Idk if I'll watch without reading some more reviews first.

It’s pretty entertaining so far ( on episode 2 ) but like I don’t think the protagonist makes the smartest moves or why is no one questioning what’s going on lmao

Fantastic horror series. Somehow the genre never gets justice on tv, but this was great.

I really want to watch this! Once I catch up on Dark (amazing show btw) I gotta start it. How does it compare to the Haunting of Hill House? I loved that show.

Personally, I think it is scarier than Haunting of Hill House. While Haunting of Hill House is of course a haunted house movie, this leans more towards kind of gross bodily horror of the possession genre. But both series have a lot of tense "people wake up at night and hear scary noises, voices, etc" kind of scenes.
