Brad Pitt would like the world to know that no matter how much praise he's getting for the movies he has out, he will ~~not~~ be pimping himself out during awards season.
“Oh, man. I’m gonna abstain. I mean, you never know, and it’s really nice when your number comes up. But the goal is for the film to land, to speak to someone, whether it’s now or a decade from now. I find chasing it actually a disservice to the purity of your telling a story, and a shackling thing to focus on.”
Depending on how weak supporting actor is this year, there is a chance he could get a spot for 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood'. 'Ad Astra's getting kind of more mixed reviews so dunno if that's in the stars (yes all puns intended).
