Yeah [Spoiler (click to open)] one of the first drafts of Cary Fukunaga’s scripts before he left the project had a lot of stuff about Richie’s queerness and Pennywise tormenting him over that. Over the years the scripts changed and they brought it back for the sequel. In the book there’s a lot of subtext that supports the idea of Richie being bi, but of course it’s not officially canon there. In the movie tho he’s canonically gay
