I don't think I've been so excited for a concert line up... like ever. It's going to be amazing seeing Fall Out Boy without some shitty ass rapper on the lineup.
This tour sounds awesome. The new Green Day song sounds like Billie listened to the White Stripes a lot and wrote a song. I kind of love it, though. Billie said the new album is only 26 minutes long, which is kind of brilliant in the streaming era.
I saw them as Foxboro Hot Tubs in 2008 on their "world tour" and it was insane, so I totally agree. I was at a Coverups show when they had a brief Foxboro reunion! Tre jumped on stage and they played Stop Drop and Roll and we all almost died in shock/excitement.
They did a tour of smaller venues (like 2-3000 capacity?) in 2016 for Rev Rad- I saw them at the UC Theatre in Berkeley! And the Longshot did a bunch of shows too in tiny bar venues. They had a handful of trilogy songs like Wild One and Stay The Night in their set.
Needless to say, after seeing the Coverups/Longshot literally 14 times total in the past year and a halfish, I'm sad to be going back to an arena/stadium, but excited for new Green Day music.

*(They should do a national small venue tour as Foxboro Hot Tubs!)

Will definitely be going to the SF show. I saw Green Day at that same venue back in 2005 and it was an amazing show
