I'd never love again if I lost any of my pets.

Also, my friend was taking her dog on the roof of a 7 story building to pee and he slipped and fell 7 stories, landed on snow and shook it off and was waiting for us at the front door of the building with a delivery man. It was wild. Walking down awaiting a splattered dog and he's waiting with a smile, no injuries. and the barber shop next door caught it on video. WHEW. We were all together and it was legit like one of the most terrifying experiences of my time in nyc.

I'm a little confused by this post but I think this is one of those differences between america and australia. Electric fences are super common here, they keep livestock in and kangaroos out (for the most part) but other commenters seem to be talking as if electric fences are used to keep dogs in? I've never heard/seen that?

You can get collars for your dog that zaps the dog when they get too close to a sensor which is what I think everyone here is referring to. The only people I know who have them are people who live on acreage though. I'm in aus as well and assumed this story meant a livestock electric fence.

Learning new things every day here. I have never heard of those eletricifed collars (outside of the ones for barking). That's crazy. I also assumed it was a livestock fence and then was confused by the comments.

They’re for livestock not the dog.
