a girl I knew in hs had a pic of her in a strapless dress photoshopped so that it looked like she was taking a nude by some anonymous weirdo. they were was making profiles on fb to add her family and friends and uploading the fake pic to porn tumblr accounts and other places and harassed her for years - and it all started when she was fucking 17!

you're totally right about how prevalent misogyny is bc she made a post about everything and showed the original pic and the fake one to set the record straight and it went viral ish and there were both men and women claiming she was just trying to cover up her nudes getting leaked... when there was proof right in front of them. and other people denied it or straight up said she shouldn't be on fb as a teen or have posted any semi-revealing photos smh
