After seeing this movie, and seeing how awful and what a waste of time it was- I’m glad they skipped over the white supremacy angle because I don’t trust Tarantino would have been able to handle it properly.

This movie was a mess and I judge anyone and everyone who thinks otherwise.

ia, the movie was really bad. I think he used Sharon Tate as a way of giving his movie more publicity. The story was pointless and I found the ending tasteless and superficial.
Also, it could've been 40 or 50 shorter, but you know Tarantino.

what awards, if any, do you think they'll get

The minions' babble about violence in the media doesn't really have anything to do with "left critiques of media" that I'm aware of, and that's only in the film to give them an excuse to go after Rick Dalton instead.

This film is boring as fuck, and I went in with low expectations

Idk why tarantino is still a thing

Tarantino is trash. This movie sucks, no matter how well crafted it was. And I'm tired of everybody giving "good"directors a pass just because art.

well considering it is an artistic, and not political, medium... take this boring opinion to the trash

this doesn’t even make sense. political and artists mediums are not mutually exclusive. everything revolves around politics and art (including film) is no different.

I agree that it was odd choice to not mention the white supremacist angle but I don't agree that the Manson family said anything particularly leftist in the film either-it was mostly just a lot of jumbled, drugged out fake-deep shit. I have plenty of criticisms for this movie (mostly revolving around the last ten minutes and the Bruce Lee scene) but giving the Mansons "we live in a SOCIETY" type lines isn't one of them.
