natalie portman is really trying to get her career back together after vox lux featured her limited (nonexistent) singing abilities. I mean.. at least she'll alway have mjollnr

Her career is very solid. I love, love, love the Vox Lux soundtrack, but the movie was... pointless. I didn't understand the purpose of its existence. Or why the same actress played two different parts? Just weird choices with that film.

I loved the movie. I think the movie did a good job showing the irony of surviving a traumatic experience in late-capitalism. Natalie isn't the best singer, but i think that's the point.

Same, but The Moon starring Sam Rockwell is incredible and sad. If you ever feel like giving an astronaut movie a shot this would be a great one.

Agreed, the soundtrack is as much a feature player as Sam himself. Every single thing about that movie is expertly done.

i watched it again a couple weeks ago and it easily one of the best performances of the year if not the latter half of the decade and the movie itself is just really fucking good and well-made
