Britney really had IT. All eyes on her.

Still mind boggling how young Britney and Christina where there - like 21?

all eye on her for sure. whenever i see her now i think about that and what she said in for the record, something like she was the cool girl and she was confident but they chipped away at that and took it away from her during 07. it's sad.

For The Record explained everything I need to know about why Britney's whole demeanor shifted afterwards.

IA. Not being shady cause I still love her but to see her now, compared to who she once was... esp as a performer, it's sad.

This gets lost in the shuffle, but I love this performance of SUBG. The rain. The intro. The guitars!

i forgot how bitter xtina was in the early days lol and britney always reacting like "uhhhhh??????"

I would be bitter too if I were hot and talented and could ousting all my peers but I was still being asked about someone who just so happened to be more charismatic than me LOL.

(But all the jokes aside I loved them to pieces as a kid. Connected to xtina more for being more of the underdog I guess but loved them both equally and wished we got something other than a feud.)

true tbh still stanned them both equally during the day! i remember moving back to canada after living in taiwan for two years as a kid, and the #1 song at the time was "Come on Over," and using the /culture-shocked trauma/ of coming back to buy me her album... bless

just admired britney's reactions to the vitriol from everyone back then, she was always so chill about it, but also social media wasn't a thing so maybe there's some deep diving i need to do

Ummm, can we please get a high res version of *NSYNC’s 2000 performance? It’s my all time favorite.

Britney's Satisfaction/Oops! I Did It Again will always be my absolute fave. Beyonce's Ring The Alarm is also pretty high up there.

When she tore off that suit to reveal the nude sparkly bodysuit, I was SHOOK.

The reveal, the bodysuit, the remix, the choreo. We were shook and it was everything.
