Yes. Call it "racist". Not "insensitive" or "problematic". RACIST is what Tarantino is.

this is very well said, succinct and to the point, it expresses exactly the problem with what he did.

I went to see this movie on opening day here in France and, for the first time ever, I walked out of a Tarantino movie.

It was horrible on so many levels, but the worst thing about it was how fucking dull it was.
I'd never before been bored during Tarantino's long ass dialogue scenes (not even during the Hateful Eight which I know many people had trouble with) but this movie was totally insufferable.

Also, Margot got totally scammed. Easily her worst role and worst performance. Her 'Sharon' was a lifeless Barbie with zero on-screen presence. I'm embarrassed for her and the dumbass excuses she made for accepting this nothing part.

The movie dudebros of twitter doing the most over this turd makes me hate it even more.

I recently saw a cam version and can't agree more about Margot. Like what a joke. I feel like I lost brain cells reading any kind of review or qt justification of not letting her perform at all whatsoever. Like am I supposed to walk away with some kind of relief that the smiling, dancing blonde lady with feet who added nothing to the plot but her name and address didn't get murdered?

it was SO dull. I was beyond bored, too.

all of the female characters were lifeless sex doll bimbos. it was painful. I especially hated that scene (full of bare feet, of course) with Cliff and that Manson family teen girl who keeps flirting with him and trying to fuck him. ugh. every time he drove past her and she tried to hitchhike with him and then POUTED when he shook his head...I wanted to shoot myself.
