I'm really curious how they're going to do this though - Jasmine being Sultana Regnant, not just princess turned consort of the sultan, changes quite a bit. I doubt she'll be considering tapping Aladdin as her vizier. I mean, I hope she taps him all day and all night, but Aladdin's only political role should be as Consort to the Sultana. How that will play out...
but this makes me more, not less, excited. They'll actually do something different with the live action version. Ahem, LA Lion King.
