· Paris Jackson is the latest nepotism kid to pretend nepotism hasn't played a role in her career. After tweeting "the term 'model' is so loose these days smh" MTV Canada talk show host Alex Illest tweeted "yeah some people dad famous so they crack into the biz effortlessly"
· Paris responded by saying she wouldn't get work if she couldn't do the job, and then asked what his talent was, guessing that he was a DJ or reality show star. Her fans came to her defense, accusing the man of jealousy and lamenting that people don't recognize Paris' hard work
· Paris was signed to IMG in 2017 and made her acting debut on Star a few months later. She made her film debut in 2018's Gringo, playing a character who was originally male but was switched to female when director Nash Edgerton found out she was interested
