Penelope looks great. That seems more like a personal choice, but Penelope could have a deal with the designer or just felt like being fancy for the day. I’m sure there is more pressure on actresses to dress up, but it was a daytime premiere for a movie, so casual doesn’t seem inappropriate to me.

mte, that was irritating. Okay, fair enough, maybe that is her style and that is his style, but dig into it a little deeper... Question why men (particularly white men) are allowed to dress down or even look unkempt and that's just written off as their ~style~ and they're still able to be extremely successful. Question why women typically can't do that and why they typically have to take on very elaborate styles and have super extensive wardrobes (and makeup, etc.) to be successful. Obviously Beyonce and Ed Sheeran do very different things with their careers, music, aesthetics, etc. and aren't a perfect comparison with each other, but there can still be more to it than that

more importantly this was a charity concert event that was televised. It would be one thing if it was his own concert - then I would entertain the Bey is OTT talk a bit - but LIKE, STEP IT UP!
