Cinderella's dress gets me every time. Reading Walt Disney's quote about how it was supposed to look like/be made of pure moonlight, I'll never see it another way.

It's why I'm so dissatisfied with the live action rendition. What they went with is very pretty, but so were all the other dresses in that movie. I was expecting something more along the lines of Claire Danes' MET Gala dress from a few years back.

this is legit my favorite dress of all time and yes should have been in the live-action (even tho I adore the live-action too but LBR).

it was his absolute favorite piece of animation the studio ever did. not to mention the film essentially staved the studio from ruin.
