OK KO! Let's Be Heroes Is Ending

Please don't spread the rumor that it was my choice to end OK KO! Let's Be Heroes. It wasn't. However, CN gave us the bad news early enough that we were able to spend this season doing our planned ending. I'm proud of what we're making and I can't wait for you to see it! pic.twitter.com/DxZHzxhJDi

Didn't is JUST START?

Wait it's been on for a year and a half?

And almost 100 episodes?

That's legit longer than I thought.

The way they premiere it and subsequently aired it was so weird tbh. They kept throwing it in their summer blocks but then would randomly take it out. It felt like it started ages ago while also starting recently

Cartoon Network’s handling of their shows is absolutely
maddening. Shit airs at bizarre times and dates, shows get canned for seemingly no reason.

I don’t remember cartoons having such weird schedules and airdates back in the 90s/early 00s

It definitely used to be more structured. Cartoon Network is definitely taking advantage since they're one of the few places kids can watch shows, it's easy to remember that they have cartoons no matter what time since it's in the name, and they screw over almost any and all shows that aren't Teen Titans Go or Gumball. Remember when they rebooted The Powerpuff Girls? They made a but deal about it only to quickly place it in a scheduling desert. Saturdays at 3, 4, or 5 pm? With no advertising? You caught it like I did, waking up from a nap and the tv happened to be on.

Deadass I didn't even know that PPG reboot was still *on*. I thought after ole boy put himself as a self insert teen love interest for Blossom that they caned it.

CN has no idea what to do with their network honestly. They have fucked over so many shows during the day and during its Adult Swim hours.

I wish their stuff was streamable on a functional site. Steven Universe deserves to be binged endlessly.

Aw, that sucks when the creator doesn't get to decide. I hope he gets to wrap it up the way he wants.

(Are he and Rebecca Sugar still dating? They seem like the Tumblr-iest couple ever.)

Well I am shocked...SHOCKEDT...that Cartoon network cancelled a show that wasn't Teen Titans Go.
