i assume they are talking about "How to get away with murder" that is pretty much "Viola Davis not giving her 100% acting skills and still being way better than almost anyone " show

So does a new person kill themselves every season in this show, or what?

Tbh in terms of ~edgy teens~ dealing with ~issues~ I think Euphoria is a lot better/more interesting. This show is SO ridiculously grim I had to tap out, especially after that rape scene in last season’s finale. With Euphoria there’s a lot more levity/moments of genuine joy sprinkled in and despite its ridiculousness there’s some really lovely and nuanced scenes (I’m thinking particularly of Jules’ discussion of her relationship w/femininity and Rue’s depression in the last ep. Also the entire way the drug trip was shot).

And at a certain point wouldn’t they just shut down this school for like a week or two to figure out wtf is happening with these crazy ass teens? Or there would be like, mass transfers or something idk.

This school should have definitely closed down, sent all of these kids to therapy, and figure out where everyone failed these kids to have to end up this way.

And agreed. Euphoria is so much better.

i think the problem is that while euphoria can seem a bit OTT at times too, it still feels more real than 13rw?

my biggest problem with 13rw (aside from the obvious) is that it doesn't know what it wants to be. everything looks like a typical high school drama and the actors all act on the level of a show like that but then they deal with these topics that are way too heavy for a typical high school drama - especially because of how they choose to show these topics
