I remember just waking up to a text from my friend about it. She knew I was a big fan and was checking in on me but I didn’t even know what she was talking about and then I checked Twitter and it was everywhere. She was so talented. I miss her.

I liked her music but I wasn't a huge fan but I remember following the posts here and most media of her drug/alcohol. I can't believe it's been 8 years now??

I remember finding out cause a lady I volunteered with told me and my first reaction was "it finally happened?!??!?!?". Such a sad thing because it had been in people's mind as a possibility. :(

I was 21 (a month away from turning 22) and I remember thinking at the time that 27 seemed old and here I am about to turn 30 and 27 is really so young. I hate the fact that I’m now older than her. So sad.
