so what about the books being cannon? because a lot happened with her mom in the books (btw i really liked the books, and kristen reads the first one for the audio and its great)
bummed about no mack but im all in on this. but i also like season 3 and the movies lol
They recap the movie and talk about the books stuff too. Rob Thomas has said all along that the stuff in the books is canon too. I think that Veronica not being sure about her future and not being able to commit is A LOT about the stuff with her mom.
I tried to get into this show last year but I couldn't. I only got a few episodes in before I lost interest. Should I try again? I really like Kristin and 90's shows like Buffy so I'm not sure what I didn't like about it.
Yes. Try again. The fourth episode is when it REALLY grabs you. 4-6 are really good. 7 is bleh... BUT, it has Jessica Chastain in it. 8-9 are pretty good and then 10 is AWESOME, and from them on, you should be in if you're gonna be in!
I think it's good for binging IF you've seen it already. I've been powering through episodes for the last week because I can put them on while doing other things.
Wallace and Logan being friends is cute lol. I finished my rewatch a few days ago and I still really dislike season 3 (Rob Thomas and Diane Ruggiero really hated young feminists in 2006 huh?) It very much has that “Gilmore Girls season 7” vibe with the network wanting it to be more CW. That being said I did love Piz and Parker
Same. Also for him having a non-dickhead friend in Wallace, and a good relationship with Keith.
Watching him and Veronica negotiate a (mostly) stable adult relationship is way more interesting to me than watching another love triangle, in case Rob Thomas is listening...
Apparently they didn't want to chase away teen viewers 🙄 but sex is okay?? [Spoiler (click to open)]Veronica and Logan apparently have a sex scene in episode one.
