it's starting to become a parody of itself especially with the nathan and ed scenes where they run in to each other

Their scenes are so stupid I can't, it's like watching kindergarten kids teasing each other.

Glad I’m not the only one tired of that bit. It’s getting real old.

So fucking pissed on Andrea Arnold's behalf! I get wanting a consistent look/feel for the show, but they should have either waited for Vallée or been up front with her from the start about what they wanted to do. This is trash. My twitter TL is not happy!!

Dear Andrea Arnold. Thank you for all of your beautiful work. Can’t wait to experience more and more. We are lucky to have you. Your fan, Ava pic.twitter.com/zg4VrVzsSe

This is an awful, embarrassing story about how we tell stories in 2019. https://t.co/WcwbJ54jXN

Wow. Andrea Arnold is one of the best filmmakers working, and this sounds like shabby treatment of her talent. https://t.co/bPBIJR91lK

I’m glad people are supporting Andrea. I’m so disgusted that a woman as talented and acclaimed as her can still be fucked over by men like this. Love Ava’s tweet.

YES THIS. Arnold is amazing -- her work is shocking and interesting. She and her directorial vision deserved better.

i remember watching i love dick thinking a particular episode felt like it was directed by andrea, only to find out it was actually directed by her-that is not a feeling i've had at all watching this season of big little lies, it really does just feel like vallée's work and it's such a shame; i thought bringing her on board would be an opportunity to change the tone a little, and i was so happy to see how she would deal with these types of characters which aren't normally present in her work. what a shame.

The AUDACITY to hire an Oscar and BAFTA winning director, a three-time winner of the Jury Prize at Cannes, to direct your series, then suddenly decide, "But really, this should be made by men." pic.twitter.com/dNJfLdPQ5I

Explains why this season is so weirdly choppy. It must suck to see your work screwed over like that.

While I appreciate the actresses and the addition of Meryl this show should have stuck with one season.
