The cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon. Film comes out July 19, 2019

The songs sound awful. Billy Eichner is no Nathan Lane. Donald Glover sounds weak.

It's barely a song and basically just a heated speech delivered in a sing-songy way. They might as well have just cut it. Heck, put a new song in to better their Best Song chances.

yeah I was so pumped when I saw it listed on here but...it's just talking over the tune

i hate how they went for a more ~serious/dark route with it when the best thing about the number was scar and the hyenas basically putting on a drag show. so disappointing.

I’m still not sold on this remake. Some things should just be left alone.
