"the emergency kisses" takes you on a trip. it's two or three songs in one and three or four different moods.
they're both very indicative of stereolab; they can do the basics right, but want to give you so much more than that.

they are one of the most underrated bands of the 90s and will always deserve more recognition that they have gotten.
my personal favorite will always be miss modular (especially this version off a peel session)

i'm happy they've continued the group even with mary passing. i can't imagine how difficult that must be; to have someone that was such an integral part of your life and career suddenly gone forever and constantly being reminded of them through your work.
