I feel you bb. I only just got it in hand in the last 3 months by doing keto, because it really crushes my appetite.

But I had tried everything: ED therapy, diet pills, hypnosis, surgery...

Sometimes my eating habits get out of whack if I'm out past dinner time or too busy to have lunch or whatever. Like I'll hit a point where I'm kind of nauseous from being hungry, but that nausea also makes me.... not hungry anymore?? Like they cancel out and I just don't feel like eating a meal anymore. So I also sometimes just want liquids, but they're never like, healthy liquids lmao. It's always like, a fucking milkshake or something, so it's not the most effective diet idea.

I get like this. Sometimes i feel rotten and my husband is like "eat something, you'll feel better" and the thought of it just turns me. But usually it works and he gets to be smug about being right lol

Hitting that wall is the biggest trigger for my eating disorder. I had to prep for an endoscopy last week, then it got cancelled. I had had nothing but broth and pedialyte for however many hours. I was dealing with the hunger at first like, damn, how did I used to do this?

Then I hit the point where the hunger feels good and you don’t want to eat anymore and I ended up eating very few solid foods for a few days after because my ED had started screaming at me that food was bad and I was evil if I ate it.

It’s so damn easy to starve once you get past the nausea stage, it worries me so much.

this happens to me all the time!! you know you're hungry but food just sounds gross. and then you eat and it's like "why did i make a big thing out of that, i feel so much better"

That’s my problem too. I was just crying earlier thinking about the fact that if I want to lose just enough weight to be healthy and maintain it I’m going to have to be a little bit hungry all the time. 😭

If you bulk your meals out with calorie dilute foods like vegetables you shouldn't have to be hungry all the time while still being able to lose weight.

Thanks for the advice. I mean feel like I do eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and I'm drinking a lot more water than I was but I don't know. Of course I'm really not sure because I'm not keeping track of what I eat. I sometimes eat what's available, which in my family is lots of carbs like tortillas, bread, rice etc. I think I may have messed myself up even more because I went to my doctor to help me with weight loss and she prescribed my a diet pill. It worked, I only took half a pill a day and I had to make myself eat. Then I realized I needed to stop because I was having unwanted side effects like not sleeping. Now I'm afraid I am going to gain back all the weight I lost. I just have a lot of trouble controlling my appetite, I wish I had a small appetite and didn't think so much about eating but I just have an unhealthy relationship with food.

like the other person said, you can have a huge appetite, I do, and eat a lot of veggies and lose weight. think the greener the veg the more you can eat. this is obviously easier said than done if you dont like veg, I do, but theres lots of great recipies for everyone.
