Can I just say that HIMYM is on par with them. I literally cannot even watch a random rerun of that show anymore. Just thinking of that finale makes me furious

The series finale ruins the entire point of the show. The title is, "How I Met Your Mother," and that is rendered meaningless in the finale. Plus the, literally years, spent showing how terrible Robin and Ted are for each, is completely ignored in the finale. All the growth that characters made throughout the series, is erased in the finale.

It's almost as if the creators tacked on a finale they made years ago, one that didn't fit with their show anymore. hunh.

I pretty much am over it now and it only occasionally surfaces when I'm watching. Slapsgiving is too good to be ruined by Robin/Ted.

As much shit as I give Lost for the final season, GoT's finale was much worse. At least Lost stayed true to its characters and their journeys. (Except for Jin and Sun at the last second omg they wouldn't have given up like that!!!) Plus Lost had more "heart."

Jin and Sun giving up and dying together was easily the most surprising death/s for me i was stunned like omfg you're really just going to leave your kid like that lmao not even one of you is going to try and live?!? Wild. But i also kind of loved it? Idk that show put me through the ringer and i've never let myself get that into a show that much since lmao.

Mte I remember my friend and I were screaming at the TV like "YOUR KID THOUGH!!!! ONE OF YOU CAN GET OUT LIKE????" And same like I've loved other shows since then but that was the last one I was absolutely obsessed with 110% lol

I love LOST’s finale. I wasn’t completely fulfilled with the mystery aspect but i was mostly watching because i loved the characters and i was happy they got some semblance of peace/happiness at the end of it all. Game of Thrones just left me feeling empty on both the fantasy stuff and the character endings.

The GOT finale was waaaay worse than LOST. For all its plot holes and messes at least I enjoyed LOST until the bitter end and was satisfied with the ending for what it was. GOT did nothing but piss me off the majority of the last two seasons, with only puny morsels of character scenes that gave me pleasure here and there.
