I did a psychology report on transphobia and it's effects and I was just horrified, every lab report/literature review had more depressing statistics than the previous one and I'm so angry that these findings were barely given any press, I doubt the majority of people would even be aware, it's frightening! Good on Iggy for using her platform like this.

I remember doing a research paper a couple of months ago about suicide in association with helpless thoughts, hopelessness and worthlessness and the thought process involving the queer community and the stark difference between those in the LGB sector and those who identify as Trans is so disheartening. I am so glad more attention is being brought up for Trans people. We are making progress in making Trans people few more like people. Too bad there is still a large vocal group who continues to misgender and obstruct their life.
